On Any Sunday
On any Sunday during our non-summer session, our service begins at 11:00. (Read about next Sunday's on the home page.) There are visitor and handicapped-parking spots by our front door. You can find our church by following the Directions link at the top of this page.
The Welcoming Committee will have a greeter wearing a "Greeter" nametag in the front lobby. He or she will welcome you and gladly direct you to anything you need. They will invite you to fill out a name tag. Please make sure to sign in our guestbook, this will ensure you receive several copies of our newsletter.
You will find attendees dressed in anything from casual to somewhat dressy. Smiles are most commonly worn! We are a Welcoming Congregation. Our members and friends include Christians, humanists, atheists, Wiccans, singles, couples, families, heterosexual, gay, lesbian, and transgendered individuals.
Quality nursery care is provided for children up to age 3, but you are also
welcome to keep babies with you during the service if you are more comfortable
doing so. UU children in grades from K-6 attend their own worship service
downstairs in the children's chapel beginning at 11 a.m. The Children's Chapel
joins the main worship service on the final Sunday of every month for an
intergenerational service. Junior High and High School students are encouraged to attend the 11 a.m. service
with their families.
When you enter the Sanctuary, you will be handed an Order of Service and a songbook. Have a seat in any chair. During the service, you are invited to stand and introduce yourself, but this is optional.
After the service, many people go downstairs to the Community Room for coffee. You are welcome to join us and mingle with our members and friends.
Some people arrive before 10:00 in order to attend Sunday Forum. (Read about Sunday Forum on the main page, right column.)
We look forward to meeting you!
